The Spanish immersion aspect of Soccer Camp includes 40 hours of intensive Spanish classes (20 hours per week). The maximum class size is five students. On the first day of class, students receive an oral and written Spanish test, which determines their class placement. Classes are divided into nine different skill levels (three beginner, three intermediate, and three advanced), and the students are provided with textbooks as well as grammar and vocabulary workbooks.

CPI prides itself on the high quality of its instructional materials (all texts have been developed within CPI) and effective teaching staff. Our teaching methodology is based on daily conversations derived from the interests of the students. The conversations are supplemented by oral and written exercises, as well as other activities. The primary goal is that students develop confidence in speaking Spanish. For this reason, student participation in class is strongly encouraged. Although the ages and educational backgrounds of our professors vary, all of our professors are extensively trained in CPI methodology, and most have worked with us for two to seven years.
